1. Who we are
Z-M Intelligence (the "Library") is operated by Z-M Advanced Technologies Co. Pty Ltd (ACN 696 940 771; ABN 71 696 940 771) of 526/368 Sussex St, Sydney NSW 2000 ("Z-M", "we", "us"). You can contact us at director@zmatc.com.au.
2. Your membership
Membership is granted to you as a named individual representing an organisation. By creating an account or paying for membership you confirm you are authorised to do so on behalf of the organisation you nominate.
Founders' Access is a one-time payment of AUD $99 (ex-GST), capped at the first 100 members. Founders receive permanent access at the launch feature set as defined in the marketing materials at the time of purchase, for as long as we continue to operate the Library.
Subsequent membership levels (Individual, Team, Enterprise) are on the pricing posted at the time of purchase and may change for new members.
3. What you can do
You may:
- read, search, and bookmark all content within the Library;
- quote short passages from Insights articles for commentary or research, with attribution to Z-M Intelligence and a link back to the article;
- cite our citation-stable policy permalinks in your own work;
- use Library content for non-commercial internal research and education within your organisation.
4. What you may not do
- redistribute, republish, or sublicense Insights articles in substantial part;
- scrape the Library, hit our APIs at rates outside published limits, or attempt to circumvent the paywall;
- share your account credentials, except within an active Team membership;
- use the Library to train any machine-learning model without our prior written consent;
- use the Library in any way that breaches Australian law, including the Copyright Act 1968, the Privacy Act 1988, and applicable consumer-protection law.
5. Documents we host vs. link to
Some documents in the Library are hosted on our infrastructure under their original licence (typically Public Domain, CC0, CC BY 4.0, or an Open Government Licence). Each entry shows its rights badge clearly. Other documents are link-only, with a metadata record on our site and an outbound link to the authoritative source. The licence on the original document governs your reuse of that document — Z-M's terms here govern your use of the Library itself.
6. Editorial
Insights articles are written by Aaron Joel Lewis with AI-assisted drafting on a curated voice profile, except where another byline is shown. Our full editorial policy — including our AI-assistance disclosure and our Defence-content posture — is published at /about/editorial-policy and forms part of these terms by reference.
7. Refunds
Founders' Access: a full refund is available on request within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. After 14 days, refunds are at our discretion. Email director@zmatc.com.au.
Subscription members (Phase 2): annual subscriptions are refundable pro-rata on request, less an AUD $99 administration deduction. Monthly subscriptions are not refundable for the current month but can be cancelled at any time, with access continuing to the period end.
None of this is intended to limit your rights under the Australian Consumer Law where it applies.
8. Privacy
Our collection and handling of your personal information is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms by reference.
9. Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The freshness SLA we publish for the Policy Monitor (in our methodology page) is a target, not a warranty. We reserve the right to suspend access for maintenance with reasonable notice where practicable.
10. Liability
The Library is provided on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Z-M's aggregate liability to any member arising from membership is limited to the fees paid by that member in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including statutory consumer guarantees.
Material in the Library is reproduced from official sources for research and analysis. It is not legal, financial, or professional advice. For legal purposes, rely on the primary source linked from each entry.
11. Termination
You can end your membership at any time via the Account page. We may suspend or terminate membership for breach of these terms with reasonable notice and a refund of unused fees (where applicable). Founders' Access is permanent unless terminated for breach.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified to current members at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Library after the effective date is acceptance of the change.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia. Disputes are resolved in the courts of New South Wales unless the law requires otherwise.
